Plan Your Pregnancy Journey
The Pregnancy & Conception Calculator is designed to give expectant parents a clear timeline of their pregnancy. Whether you calculate from your Last Menstrual Period (LMP) or a known conception date, this tool provides key milestones including your trimesters and estimated due date (EDD).
How We Calculate
This calculator primarily uses Naegele’s Rule, the standard method used by obstetricians worldwide.
- LMP Method: Adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last period, adjusting for your specific cycle length.
- Conception Method: Adds 266 days (38 weeks) from the date of conception.

Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is the due date?
Only about 5% of babies are born on their exact due date. Most are born within two weeks before or
after.
Why does cycle length matter?
Ovulation usually occurs 14 days before the end of your cycle. A longer or shorter cycle shifts the
conception window, which affects the due date calculation.
